Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

AlphaDream created and Nintendo published Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story in 2009 for the Nintendo DS handheld game platform. Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story is the third installment in the series. In addition to utilizing the DS's interactive screens, it introduces a number of gameplay elements that would be carried over to subsequent games in the series.

The narrative of the game revolves around Mario and Luigi getting ingested into the body of Bowser, their longtime enemy. To regain control of the Mushroom Kingdom from their common enemy Fawful, the Mario brothers must work with Bowser, who is ignorant of their presence inside his body. It's all about the teamwork of the three players as they work together to solve puzzles and take down adversaries. A turn-based warfare system with a focus on timing accuracy is used, and the game is nearly exclusively comic in tone.

Fans and critics alike hailed it as the series' pinnacle, with many hailing it as their favorite entry in the canon. By April 2011, it had sold more than four million copies worldwide, making it the second best-selling Mario role-playing game.

On July 12th, 2013, the Nintendo 3DS game Mario & Luigi: Dream Team was published. Nintendo 3DS remake Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey was published on January 25, 2019 in Europe, on January 25, 2019, in Japan on December 27, 2018, and on January 26, 2019 in Australia on the Nintendo 3DS.
